The Original Pasty House has been bought by the owner of Kitchen@25 in Crediton.

The current owners of The Original Pasty House are retiring and the business, with outlets in Tavistock and Plymouth, is being taken over by  owner of Kitchen@25, the award-winning deli and bistro in Crediton.

New owner and Food Drink Devon award winner, Emma Hookway, said:

“Janet and Nigel have always had a very ‘hands on’ role in the running of the business and I want to continue their great work. We shall maintain the warm and welcoming atmosphere in our cafes where everyone can enjoy a delicious cup of coffee and a traditional pasty, as well as contributing in any way we can to the local community.

“40% of The Original Pasty House turnover is now deliveries in the Tavistock and Plymouth areas. The only change we plan to make is to expand the delivery area – which is something that I know will be a popular decision.”

Emma has exciting plans for The Original Pasty House with expansion, potentially, into six locations within Devon.
