Reposted from @abbyallen of @pipersfarm. Two very special Devon farms (and Food Drink Devon members) are now working together, read more from Abby below… “We have recently welcomed into our Pipers Farm family the wonderful Jason & Amelia of @springwaterfarm_ “Their outstanding conservation grazed Highland cattle will be gracing our blocks and your tables over the coming months. I cannot wait for you to try this truly outstanding beef. “Jason and Amelia farm no more than 5 minutes from us at PF HQ and are responsible for providing our cattle with the most magnificent winter hay, so to work with them in this way is very special for us, neighbour supporting neighbour. “Amelia like me, is a @nffnuk Farming Champion and together she and Jason work tirelessly (and I mean tirelessly, I don’t know how they fit everything in) to engage with school groups, researchers and environmental schemes to show the power of nature friendly farming. “The work they have done on the Killerton Estate is a true pleasure to see. Their land is a local dog walking spot for me and so I’m acutely aware of the gentle improvements they are making. It has never felt more nurtured, abundant and balanced. “You can follow their farming journey @springwaterfarm_ “Getting to work with people who inspire me is one of the best bits of my job.” Thank you @matt_austin_images for the beautiful photos. #pastureraised #pasturefed #regenerativeagriculture #regenerativefarming #regenerativefarminguk18 Jul 2024Posted on

👠 Devon rum brand @hattiers_rum partnered with Theatre Royal Plymouth to create a NEW cocktail, ‘Rumway’, for the press launch of The Devil Wears Prada: A New Musical. It was so well received that ‘Rumway’ will be available to Plymouth theatregoers throughout the show’s run! 👏🏼👏🏼 Now playing until August, the show centres around a fictional fashion magazine called Runway and its demanding, frosty editor Miranda Priestly. 🍹Described as a ‘fresh and fruity aged rum cocktail with a devilish kick’, the ‘Rumway’ is inspired by the name of the fictional magazine in which much of the action is set. The star ingredient of the ‘Rumway’ cocktail is Hattiers’ Egremont. Going to see ‘The Devil Wears Prada? Try a ‘Rumway’… Or channel your inner Miranda and recreate it at home… here’s how! 🍹Add 35ml of Hattiers Egremont Premium Reserve Rum to a highball glass with ice. 🍹Add the juice of ¼ wedge of fresh lime, leaving the fruit in afterwards. 🍹Fill the remainder of the glass with ¾ Luscombe Hot Ginger Beer and ¼ Luscombe Raspberry Crush and serve with a sprig of fresh mint.14 Jul 2024Posted on
