It’s Occombe’s first Christmas with a newly opened Occombe Farm Shop and recently renovated Occombe Farm Café (last year). Since opening in August, Occombe Farm Shop has welcomed many visitors from both the local community and from further afield, stocking up with gorgeous things to take back home. Perhaps even more impressive is the many returning visits from within the local community, with noticeably many local regulars; possibly bolstered by the amazing Occombe breakfast! In fact, the Café is breaking records on breakfast sales every weekend.

Since the Farm Shop opened in August, the Occombe team has grown dramatically. Almost 50 new people have joined the farm shop and café operations this summer, providing great new job opportunities for local people. The Café has a whole new kitchen team and more people supporting the front of house operation. Recruitment has also begun for the new Farm Park & Play attraction too, anticipated to open in early 2022.

This great Occombe team are ready with the warmest welcome. Everyone’s looking forward to celebrating with you and helping make the most of the festive season. Visitors can expect a unique shopping experience. Not only is Occombe Farm Shop jam packed with lots of delicious food, drink and gifts but what is hoped sets them apart is the fabulous customer service. One where the team are on hand to help you find that perfect gift, locate the best products for you, and share lots of ideas and information about the unique and local product range. They’ll even help you create your own Christmas hamper, selected from the finest West Country products. Devon hampers are proving popular as people shop local and give the gift of Devon!

You can even buy your locally grown Christmas tree at Occombe this year. So, they’ve got it all wrapped up; your one-stop shop for all your Christmas needs.

Occombe Farm Shop and Farm Café are open every day. Weekends throughout December until 19th will include warming mulled drinks, festive treats to try and, on selected weekends, there’ll be music by a local choir too. To give you extra time, there’s late-night shopping until 8pm on Thursdays from 25th November until 16th December.

Whether you’re shopping for treats for the family, a special gift for a friend or simply looking to indulge yourself this Christmas your purchases are helping to support the conservation work of Torbay Coast & Countryside Trust; caring for Torbay’s beautiful green spaces. Good Shopping that Does Good!
