Flapjackery, renowned for crafting the finest gluten-free flapjacks in the UK, is delighted to announce the opening of its newest outlet at Fordmore Farm Shop near Cullompton.

Every flapjack at Flapjackery is a labour of love, individually handcrafted at their headquarters in Tavistock. A decadent array of mouthwatering flavours and toppings are added to a traditional flapjack base, made with gluten-free British oats, syrup, and butter earning Flapjackery a reputation as one of the finest flapjack producer in the UK.

The Fordmore outlet marks yet another milestone in Flapjackery’s expansion journey, driven by the ever-growing demand for their gluten-free flapjacks. In recent months, it has opened doors to new shops with Fowey opening in June and a Dartmouth pop-up in Dartmouth, complementing their existing branches in Tavistock, Plymouth, St Ives, Wells, Minehead, and Bath.

Founded in 2015 by Carol Myott and Sally Jenkin, Flapjackery was born out of their passion for home baking. Starting from their own kitchens and later selling their creations at Tavistock Farmers’ Market, the duo’s mouthwatering offerings quickly gained a dedicated following. Their journey continued as they ventured to local shows and expanded further afield, spreading their flapjack love across the UK.

Carol Myott said:

“It’s a really exciting phase for Flapjackery, and we’re delighted to be at Fordmore Farm Shop, which is a beautiful place and so conveniently located, just off junction 28 on the M5. We’re very fortunate to have such a great team at our base in Tavistock, which enables us to maintain such high-quality flapjacks, each one individually made.”

Tom Harradine, joint owner of Fordmore Farm Shop with James Persey, added:

“It’s great to have Flapjackery here. It’s an incredible brand that is hugely recognisable, and the flapjacks are utterly delicious. We think it is going to be very popular with Fordmore customers.”

To celebrate the opening, on October 7 the first 50 visitors to Flapjackery at Fordmore will be given a Flapjackery  jute bag. There will also be free samples to taste throughout the day. Flapjackery at Fordmore is open Wednesday to Sunday, 9.30am – 4.30pm.
