The Angel’s Bespoke Blend Coffee

The Angel’s coffee is roasted to perfection by Devon Coffee Company and was blended in conjunction with Head Chef, Elly Wentworth, and Front of House Manager, Jordan Wiltshire.

When Elly and Jordan were looking for a supplier for the restaurants coffee, they had very specific requirements they wished to be met: namely the coffee had to taste amazing whether in Elly’s cooking, as an espresso, or served with milk.

Devon Coffee Company is based in Plymouth and was born in 2011.  They are all about the customer-tailored experience and helping businesses with technical support and barista training.  Support was really important to the Angel, as was the fact the roasters were local.  They are delighted with both their service and their coffee.

The Angel’s bespoke blend is made using El Eden, a single origin varietal from Columbia and Tres Baras Select, a Brazilian single origin varietal.  The resulting tasting notes are citrus, with honey and dark chocolate resulting in a unique, smooth cup.  It is amazing in Elly’s cooking and perfect after a meal with us.
