The cheese
A collaboration between Devon’s finest cheese-makers, the Essential Devon Cheeseboard includes five artisan cheeses - handrafted in Devon by Sharpham, Quickes and Ticklemore Cheese Dairy. Each cheese is made with milk from cows and goats that have grazed Devon’s lush pastures.
The charcuterie
Launched in December last year, Sharpham's charcuterie with a Devon twist features a Capicollo, made from Blackwell & Co pork shoulder. It's air-dried, fermented, and matured for three months to develop its deep, savoury character. What makes it truly unique is its final wash with Devon Distillery’s SloeD Gin.
The collection also includes a new salami made with Dingley Dell pork and inspired by the traditional French Saucisse Sèche. Seasoned with a delicate blend of clove, nutmeg, garlic and pepper, its standout feature is the infusion of Sandridge Barton Pinot Noir wine made just a mile from the dairy.
The little bit extra
Sharpham's new Quince Jelly is made by the monks of Buckfast Abbey from quinces hand-harvested in the Abbey grounds. It's a delicious additon to any cheeseboard.
