Lyme Bay Winery wins numerous medals in nationally and internationally recognised competitions.
The winery has been honoured with awards from prestigious competitions in recent weeks, including the WineGB Awards, Decanter World Wine Awards, The International Wine Challenge, and The International Wine & Spirits Challenge.
These accolades include an impressive total of seven Gold Medals, seven Silver Medals, and six Bronze Medals.

WineGB Awards
At the WineGB Awards, known for highlighting the excellence of British wines and producers, Lyme Bay were the only English winery to receive a Gold Medal for their Pinot Noir 2021, they also won Gold for their Chardonnay 2021, along with a Silver Medal for their sparkling Blanc de Blancs 2017.
Decanter World Wine Awards (DWWA)
In its 21st year, the Decanter World Wine Awards (DWWA) recognised Lyme Bay with silver medals for their Pinot Noir 2021 (The only English Winery to win a Silver Medal for their 2021 vintage) and Chardonnay 2021, as well as a Bronze Medal for Sparkling Rosé NV. Additionally, the winery secured Silver Medals for the Chardonnay 2021, Pinot Noir 2021, and Sparkling Rosé NV, while their Bacchus Block 2022 earned a Bronze Medal at the highly esteemed International Wine Challenge (IWC).
The International Wine & Spirit Competition (IWSC)
With a mission to champion the best wines and spirits globally, awarded Gold Medals to Lyme Bay’s Jack Ratt Black Cherry Mead a silver to the Chardonnay 2021, and Bronze Medal to the Sparkling Rosé NV, Jack Ratt Elderflower Mead, Lyme Bay Mulled Wine, and Jack Ratt Traditional Mead.
Taste of the West Awards
Moreover, Lyme Bay was honoured with four Gold Medals at The Taste of the West Awards for their Lyme Bay Dry Gin, Lugger Spiced Rum, Lyme Bay Ginger Liqueur, and Jack Ratt Apple Mead. This annual event showcases the quality and diversity of food and drink producers in the southwest region and highlights Lyme Bay’s commitment to excellence.
