A crispy duck starter has been flying out, and is it any wonder? Then it’s topped with torched orange, pickled spring onion and honey dressing on a bed of crunchy red cabbage slaw.
The beef sirloin on both the lunch and dinner menu comes from Veyseys butchers, where the team age grass fed Devon beef for 21 days then cut steaks to just how the La Mar chefs like them.
Something sweet? Try the caramelised rice pudding with blackberry jam, fresh blackberries and ginger crumble. It oozes nostalgia, reminding us of when desserts were simple, tasty and warm the soul.
