Join the team on an in-depth tour of this highly sustainable distillery, one of only a handful of UK distilleries that makes rum from scratch. Smell the molasses and learn how Russ and Gemma turn this high-quality raw material into a delicious range of rums. You’ll learn about fermentation, distilling, spicing, casking, bottling, labelling.

Make your own signature rum! Visit the Salcombe Rum School, housed in the same waterside distillery as their gin school, for a masterclass in creating your own rum which you can bottle, label and take home with you. Ideal way to mark a celebration.

All aboard the Rum School Bus! Learn about the history of one of the most popular spirits in the world, its origins and the different methods of crafting it. Then it’s over to you, to create your own blend of spices and botanicals to distil into your rum. Once the still is on, you will be able to design your personalised label for your bottle.
