Award winning local drinks producer Bar Buoy Cocktails has teamed up with Devonshire seascape artist Ella Slade

Now, when you order a box of Bar Buoy cocktails online via the Bar Buoy website, a postcard featuring one of Ella’s new sunset paintings is included in the box with a handwritten gift note.

How did the collaboration happen? Bar Buoy Cocktails was dreamt up on the beach in Exmouth, where co-founders Tim and Ria Ball would meet friends to watch the sunset with a flask full of their carefully crafted Margarita. This just happens to be the very spot that Ella has magically captured in her new painting ‘Sundowner on the Exe’, part of her soon-to-launch sunset painting series.

With a unique combination of colour, motion and textures, Ella’s paintings perfectly portray the exact settings that inspired Bar Buoy’s new canned cocktails.  The range includes four premium 200ml cans all based on classic cocktails, but with a clever coastal twist.

From the refreshing Coastal Paloma featuring Salcombe Gin, to the complex Long Isles Iced Tea with a blend of Devon spirits, citrus, and tea, the new premium cans are full of flavour and sophistication yet can be enjoyed with ease in any number of locations; especially on the beach where the very idea of them first began.

To receive one of Ella’s gift cards, simply place an order via the Bar Buoy website and the postcard will be included in every box. It can either have a hand written gift note added to it, or just arrive blank so that you can stick it to your fridge and be transported straight to the River Exe Estuary on a daily basis.
