Award-winning Fire School and rustic fine-dining venue, High Grange, has joined forces with food veterans Millers Farm Shop to open a BBQ Shack.
This latest offering from High Grange, is located in what has become a real food hub, and will showcase produce from their local larder in East Devon.
The High Grange BBQ shack fired up the charcoal on Wednesday 8th November and will be serving from 11.30am – 2.30pm Tuesday-Saturday, with a changing weekly menu.
They opened with one of Luke’s favourite things to eat, featuring local pork and their award-winning Quince Scotch Bonnet Hot Sauce (2023 Gold award from Taste of the West).
Chef and owner of High Grange, Luke Vandore-Mackay says
“As you know if you’ve followed us for any length of time, we’re great friends with and huge fans of the team at Miller’s Farm Shop. We came to view High Grange and spent a weekend in East Devon in 2019 and stayed in a caravan at Andrewshayes – just down the road. I remember the elation of that day- I’d just found a brilliant, massive farm shop five minutes down the road from this dream house that we had just put an offer on… it was the cherry on the cake. Four years later and I’m still there most days for something or other. It’s a genuinely special place and we adore James, Olivia, Kieran and their whole brilliant team.”
