On Wednesday 12th May at 8pm Elly Wentworth will be cooking in the South West heat of the 16th series of Great British Menu on BBC Two. Currently Head Chef at the Angel, Elly was thrilled to be asked to compete to represent South West for this year’s series.

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of Sir Tim Berners-Lee creation of the World Wide Web the theme is ‘British innovation and Invention’ which Elly says “pushed her out of her comfort zone but really enjoyed matching her food to the brief.

The series is hosted by Andi Oliver with Rachel Khoo as the 3rd new judge and Elly is competing against Jude Kareama, Nick Beardshaw and Nat Talents.

Tune in on BBC Two at 8pm this Wednesday to watch the action.
