Autumn is approaching…

Festive thoughts!

Whilst there is still a hint of summer in the air, the nights have started to draw in.  Before we know it, we will be in October and then the ‘C’ word will be upon us!

Dartmouth is, in our opinion, rather beautiful in the autumn and winter.  Our winding streets have some lovely shops, boutiques and galleries to browse in, as well as some amazing places to eat and drink.  Plus, the jewel in the crown has to be the River Dart, which dominates the town with pretty sailing boats, working fishing boats, sparkling water and much wildlife all waiting to be spotted.

At the Angel, we have to start to plan each season early – local produce changes continually and we like to make sure we use the freshest ingredients at the perfect time.  With this in mind, we thought it would be a good idea to share our Christmas ( yes, ok, we said it!)  and New Year opening times below.

If you are contemplating a visit, then we recommend you book early as we are already well booked up into October.  Our Tasting menu has been updated as has our wine list, and from November we will be open Thursday’s through to Sundays.  We would love to see you!

Tuesday 21 December – open for dinner only

22 & 23 December – open for lunch and dinner

Christmas Eve – open for Tasting Menu only for dinner

Christmas Day through to the 29 December – Closed

30 December – open for lunch and dinner

New Year’s Eve – open for Tasting Menu dinner only

New Year’s Day – Open for lunch and dinner
