Join Uncle Tom Cobley and all for a fun day out at Widecombe Fair on 12 September.

Widecombe Fair is an annual event in the picturesque Dartmoor village of Widecombe-in-the-Moor. Whilst celebrating traditional rural life, it also provides a wonderful day out for young and old alike.

Run entirely by volunteers to raise money for local good causes, as well as providing an opportunity for farmers to compare the size of their tractors, Widecombe Fair takes place on the second Tuesday of September each year and attracts visitors from far and wide.

Widecombe-in-the-Moor lies between green fields and high, moorland hills in a sheltered valley on the east side of Dartmoor.

Tickets for Widecombe Fair 2023 are now available to purchase in advance from our ticket page.

Traders can apply for a stand at this year’s event using the application form, and the 2023 produce schedule is available on the produce & handicraft page.
