The Proper Marmalade Company has scooped DOUBLE Gold at this year’s Dalemain World Marmalade Awards.

Made in Devon in small batches, their artisanal marmalades are 100% handmade from fresh fruit, simmered until the peel is soft before boiling to a set with sugar. In owner Alex’s opinion, this is the only way to make a good marmalade. The sharpness and clarity of the fruit shines through.

They make over 25 varieties; some of which pair just as well with cheese, smoked fish and cold meats, as they do on toast!

Their marmalades have gone from strength to strength, with numerous Gold, Silver & Bronze awards over the years including Paddington Bears ‘paw’ of approval with World Champion, Gold and Silver Awards at the Original Marmalade Festival in Cumbria, and many Great Taste Gold Awards, including a Top 50 Product Award.

Made in batches of 22 jars, Alex’s marmalades have the kick to wake you up in the morning. Why make it yourself?
