The Plant Shed launch Old Nog’s – a new Farm Shop and Cafe

Plant Shed explands into next door cafe to create a brand new Farm Shop and Cafe to be called Old Nog’s.

After the devastating fire in the yard last November 2022, it has been a challenging and difficult winter for both our business and our staff.

However, we are so excited to be able to announce that our farm shop (formerly The Plant Shed) has been able to expand into the next door cafe, refurbish it and create a whole new locally sourced menu to showcase the best of the South West.

With a nod to our River Taw heritage and the many herons we see on it, we have renamed the farm shop and cafe Old Nog’s.

Our team of staff have been amazing and rolled their sleeves up to help with cleaning soot, painting, building and absolutely anything that we needed. We love the finish and we would love to share it with you all.

Our hopes and goals for this little cafe is to be a buzzing community hub in an area where it is much needed. After just one week of being open, the atmosphere is perfect. With a chilled vibe, great food and staff who love the building they have created; we are feeling really positive about the future.
