The fabulous The Hairy Bikers visited Devon for their new series and stopped by Inyama Biltong in Broadclyst.

Devon local, Amy and her partner Donwynne who hails from South Africa, started their business in their kitchen around two years ago. In this short time Inyama Biltong has grown into a staple of the local food scene, operating from a local farm unit and sourcing 100% pasture-fed beef from Devon’s regenerative farms.

Their commitment to health, sustainability, and community caught the Hairy Bikers Go West TV series’ attention, and the couple are excited to be featured in an upcoming episode.

Don said: ‘This milestone isn’t just about us—it’s a testament to the vibrant local economy and the importance of sustainable practices in the food industry.”

Watch out for Don and Amy TV debut – and other local food heroes – in the Westcountry episode which airs on March 19th.

This was written before the very sad death of the legendary Dave Myers, one half of the fantastic Hairy Bikers duo. We all mourn the passing of such a champion of great food and drink, and send his friends, family and colleagues our condolences.
