The Goose and Gander Kitchen at The Lord Nelson has tweaked and perfected their new “Street Food Style” menu over their outdoor opening in April. Their Diners have also enjoyed their “Pub Classic” menu to eat in their wedding style decorated dining marquee and their casual pub tables on their wood chip garden.

Their acoustic sessions on a Tuesday evening have been a success with chimeneas, fire pits and blankets to keep warm in the evenings.

Spring Fest 2021 is fully booked this bank holiday weekend over Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd where they have nearly 20 acts over both days from some of the best musicians in the area. They are firing up their custom made rotisserie spit oven and their BBQ to feed the hundreds with Longhorn Beef, Free range Saddleback Pork, Organic Lamb, locally caught Fish and interesting Veggie options.

The Lord Nelson will be fully open inside and out from Tuesday 18th May, taking bookings on their online booking system. They’ve been wine tasting with their local supplier to ensure there’s a great selection and Darren can’t wait to make his popular cocktails when the sun starts coming out more often. Rachel will be ready to make you feel welcome, comfortable and safe whether your dining inside or enjoying the weather outside.
