South Devon Chilli Farm Reopens Visitor Site

After a few long years of COVID and lockdowns, the South Devon Chilli Farm has once again opened its doors to the public!

The new owners Jenny and Amrit, as well as the existing team of staff, are delighted to welcome back visitors to the farm, to shop at their dedicated store on site, as well as enjoy the beautiful show tunnel in all its chilli-tastic glory!

The show tunnel showcases well over 100 varieties of fabulous chilli plants, and these are currently in full bloom, both flowering and fruiting in almost all the colours of the rainbow.

SDCF’s annual chilli harvest on the farm is also now well and truly in full swing; they’re picking chilli fruits 5 days a week from now all the way through until November.

Their horticulturists have been lovingly nurturing their plants since January to get them into their best possible shape for harvesting as much fruit as possible, ready for sale to their customers as well as cooking on site to make into their award-winning range of sauces, preserves and chocolate.

The farm has had lots of loyal customers pay a return visit since they reopened and looks forward to welcoming many more over the coming months and years!
