A Kolsch is a German beer type (and Protected Designation of Origin, which is why they call it Kolsch-style or K*lsch) where ale yeast is given a long cold lagering to produce a crisp and refreshing summertime ale.

Kolsch-style beers seem to be having a bit of a moment, and PK have long been fans, with much loved Summer K*lsch and a Mandarina K*lsch in the archives.

This year their kolsch-style beer is getting the New Zealand treatment, courtesy of Antipodean Nelson Sauvin hops. As the name would suggest, these add white wine and grapey notes to the dry, elegant German-style beer for ultimate summer quaffability. Cool Hand is the perfect brew for your summer living.
