Seafest Plymouth will once again be celebrating the incredible sustainably caught fresh fish and seafood on offer in Britain’s Ocean City, as well as celebrating and informing visitors about our wonderful ocean.
The festival (formerly Plymouth Seafood and Harbour Festival) will feature lots of trader stalls, tasty treats, cool refreshments from the Venton’s Devon cider bar, plus inspirational demonstrations from the cookery theatre.
Children can take part in the free activities including a find the fish trail. So if you are interested in what goes on under, on and above the sea, and enjoy your fresh seafood then you are in for a real treat this September!
The brilliant cardboard boat race will also be taking place on Saturday 16 September. If you don’t mind getting wet, then why not give it a go? Or pop along and show your support to all the awesome participants, with their creative and hopefully watertight cardboard boats!
The free Seafest Plymouth is brought to you by the Plymouth Waterfront Partnership, and takes place on The Barbican, Sutton Harbour and Waterfront on 16 and 17 September.
