Shilstone Cafe's NEW Fire Shed, Modbury

A wood-fired outdoor restaurant has opened in the beautiful courtyard of Shilstone Manor Restaurant and Café, serving a seasonal menu with local meats, garden vegetables and larger dishes made for sharing, with music on selected evenings. 

Greendale Farm Shop Kitchen, Farringdon

Serving breakfasts, lunches and dinner all year round, featuring the freshest of local produce from the farm shop, fish from Greendale's boats and meat from the farm... and don't forget a proper cream tea. Covered outdoor seating and plenty of outside space, a play area and animals.

The Millbrook Inn, South Pool

Nestled at the top of a tranquil tidal creek on the Salcombe estuary, the Millbrook Inn is a hidden haven for those who enjoy good food, great wine and a pint of local ale out by the brook. Look out for new Executive Chef Elly Wentworth leading the kitchen too.

Bearslake Inn Dartmoor

Work up an appetite with a moorland walk, then enjoy lunch or dinner in the garden of the beautiful thatched 13th century Bearslake Inn - next to a babbling stream with views over Dartmoor. Pub classics and wholesome, hearty food created with passion and great pride.

Castle Inn, Lydford

A 16th century Devonshire pub with rooms, in the picturesque Dartmoor village of Lydford, surrounded by walks, trails and cycle routes, with a wonderful large garden to the rear of the pub overlooking the Saxon castle next door, and a heated stretch tent if the weather turns.

The Tors in Belstone

A pub in the village of Belstone serving a traditional menu using local ingredients, or try The Shed, their summertime outdoor kitchen/BBQ with the iconic beer garden opening directly out on the moor with unbeatable Dartmoor views. Winner of 'Best Takeaway' at the Food Drink Devon awards.

Heron Farm, Weston nr. Honiton

Working farm with an award-winning cafe, vineyard, orchards, kitchen garden, and much more. Fresh, seasonal, garden-to-table food accompanied by award-winning wines, coffee and cakes. Eat in the walled gardens, visit the play park and orchard, take a vineyard tour and meet the pet sheep.

Sandridge Barton Winery, Stoke Gabriel

There'll be a new restaurant opening in the beautiful surroundings of Sandridge Barton Winery this summer. ROAM opens for lunch, seven days a week (12–4pm) from July 9th, with Friday and Saturday evenings to follow later in the year. Beautiful spaces both indoors and out to enjoy seasonal dining.

Blue Ball Exeter

A recently refurbished 17th Century thatched pub and restaurant in Sandygate, Exeter, close to M5 Jct 30, and a short walk from Exeter Chiefs' ground. Enjoy an expertly cooked meal or pre-match pint in the pretty, spacious garden with stretch tent.

Award winning cafe within China Blue Totnes, offering seasonal, locally-sourced dishes. Sit inside or enjoy the sheltered garden. Dog friendly. Walk-ins only apart from Afternoon Tea (book online). Check out the 'Party on Patio' on 2 August.

High Grange Axminster

An award-winning rural retreat with fine dining cooked over fire. Luke Vandor-MacKay teaches fire cookery in his outdoor kitchen and hosts fabulous seasonal, long-table feasts in this magical woodland dining venue. 

Ivybridge Brewery

With a mission to train and employ people with learning disabilities, this microbrewery, taproom and shop in Ivybridge has seating indoors and outside next to the river. Enjoy an award-winning beer Thurs - Sat, 5-9pm.

Darts Farm, Topsham

Overlooking the Exe Estuary, Darts Farm’s Terrace Bar is the perfect place to enjoy the evening sun. Enjoy seasonal nibbles from The Farm Table, wood-fired pizzas, wines and local tipples. Thurs - Sat 5:30pm - 8:30pm, plus live sessions.

Old Warehouse Taproom and Kitchen, Kingsbridge

With two sunny outdoor spaces, this the perfect spot for a pastry and coffee, a freshly cooked breakfast, a light lunch or a fire-cooked feast created by new chef Iain Dawson. Don't forget the on-site Moonhoney Meadery too.

Bucket and Spade, Shaldon

At Coast View Holiday Park, the Bucket & Spade Café enjoys jaw-dropping views over the Jurassic coastline. Recently renovated, with new seating on the sun deck where you can eat family favourites, Brixham fish, light bites and Sunday lunch.
