Heydays, at Sideshore on Exmouth’s beachfront, is welcoming the summer season with relaxed coastal dining and a new summer menu, bringing fresh ideas and bold flavours designed for long, relaxed days by the coast.
There’s something special about eating by the sea, especially in the summer. The fresh air and coastal views create the perfect setting to pause and enjoy good food with friends and family - a feeling that sits right at the heart of Heydays.
The restaurant is designed to reflect its beachfront setting, with light-filled interiors, natural textures and an easy-going, welcoming atmosphere.
Whether visiting after a walk, stopping in for lunch or dining as the sun sets, the focus is on relaxed, enjoyable hospitality.
Alongside its dining offering, Heydays runs a weekly programme of experiences and seasonal deals, including midweek cocktail offers, burger nights and Friday evening music sessions, creating a more social atmosphere throughout the week.
New menu
Director and Head of Food Andy Briggs said:
“It’s a great time of year for food, and I’m always thinking ahead and taking inspiration from all over the world. I’m constantly creating dishes in my head, researching ideas and developing new combinations.”
The new menu includes dishes such as an Australian-inspired bircher muesli for breakfast, Saigon char-grilled lemongrass pork with broken rice and crispy fried egg, and a lemon posset with macerated raspberries and shortbread crumble.
With a mix of indoor and outdoor seating, Heydays makes the most of its beachfront location, offering guests the chance to relax and enjoy the setting in a way that suits them.
At Heydays, we welcome families, couples, friends and four-legged visitors alike. Whether you’re visiting Devon for a summer escape, planning a catch-up with friends or simply looking for somewhere special to eat by the coast, we’d love to welcome you.
