Sharpham Cheese celebrates double success as Savour and Ticklemore achieve prestigious Great Taste 3-Star rating.
Totnes-based Sharpham Cheese has achieved a remarkable double win in the 2026 Great Taste Awards, with its Savour and Ticklemore Goat both receiving the top 3-star rating. This exceptional accolade places both products firmly in the top tier of the largest and most trusted food and drink awards on the planet.
A panel of experts judge food and drink products in rigorous blind taste tests. Three-Star awards are reserved only for the 'exceptionally outstanding' - an accolade achieved by only 2% of entries this year. Just 248 out of 15,038 internationally.
Judges' feedback on Savour... “This white rind-washed cheese is simultaneously mild and complex. It has a bright acidity that mellows into a delicate, buttery taste. There is a touch of grassy, buttercup notes that balances beautifully. The texture has a pleasing soft chew that then melts away. Wonderful.”
And on Ticklemore... The rind is soft and lightly bloomed, with a softened breakdown beneath leading to a bright, lightly crumbly centre. We enjoyed the clean, fresh goat milk flavour with fine citrus highlights and not a hint of farmyard in sight.’
