Powderkeg Brewery have brought back their Tropical Session IPA for the 2026 spring and summer season, after the new brew scooped two awards.

The juicy notes and easygoing 3.4% ABV hit a chord with drinkers across Devon, who quaffed 15,000 pints of it in 2025. The Powderkeg team tweak recipes from season to season, and they’ve managed to pack even more tropical fruit flavour in than before.

It’s made with a new hop from the USA called Krush. Described as 'a fruit cocktail in cone form', it brings orange, mango, guava, peach that deliver complex, fruity aromas. Like sippin’ on sunshine, each totally tropical mouthful makes the future seem that little bit brighter.

Head brewer John Magill said: 'People really love a juicy-style beer. Hops & Dreams brings those bright and bold fruity NEIPA flavours to the beer at a session ABV for that really thirst-quenching quality. It will give people those holiday vibes all season long.'
