Exeter is home to a brand new chocolate destination.

Local bean-to-bar maker, Nicola’s Chocolate Adventures,  has opened the doors to its working micro-factory, shop and educational hub.

It offers an insight into how real chocolate is made, from ethically sourced cacao beans to beautifully wrapped bars.

Founder Nicola Knight, a former teacher turned chocolate educator and maker, launched the business during lockdown and recently crowdfunded over £4,500 to help bring the shop to life.

“This space is a celebration of chocolate’s journey – from cacao farms around the world to our corner of Exeter. I want to bring the global cacao story into our local community in a way that’s hands-on, transparent and inspiring.”
