New sparkling mead in vibrant berry flavours from Lyme Bay Winery.
The UK’s largest producer of mead, Lyme Bay Winery, is reimagining the world’s oldest alcoholic drink with the launch of two vibrant new flavours, Raspberry Lemonade and Strawberry & Elderflower Sparkling Mead. Lightly sparkling, bursting with natural flavour and at just 3.5% ABV, these fun and refreshing new drinks are redefining what people expect from mead.
Raspberry Lemonade Sparkling Mead balances sweet-tart raspberries with zesty lemonade, perfectly complemented with the smooth, honey-kissed notes of traditional mead. Fresh, fruity and bright, it’s versatile and easy to drink, whatever the occasion.
Strawberry & Elderflower Sparkling Mead blends strawberry juice with elderflowers and the soft honey notes of mead. With its lively fizz and subtly floral finish, it’s a delightful aperitif, pairs beautifully with food, or can be enjoyed simply over ice.
Both drinks contain no artificial colours, flavours or sweeteners, offering a clean and naturally delicious taste. At 3.5% ABV they also deliver a lighter, more playful way to experience mead.
From its winery in Axminster, Devon, Lyme Bay produces over 250,000 bottles of mead each year. Handcrafted by skilled experts using traditional methods, a blend of honey and water is fermented with yeast, with the sugar in the honey converted to alcohol. It’s Lyme Bay’s Traditional Mead which forms the fabulous base for both Raspberry Lemonade Sparkling Mead and Strawberry & Elderflower Sparkling Mead.
Both are available now here: lymebaywinery.co.uk/mead/sparkling-mead/ in 330ml cans, 3.5% ABV, RRP £2.75.
