A new and exciting chapter begins at The White Hart in Dartington, as Head Chef, Dan Foster officially takes over the tenancy of the much-loved pub.
Already at the heart of the kitchen, Dan has earned a loyal following for creating seasonal, flavour-led dishes that celebrate the very best of Devon’s produce. Now, stepping into the role of tenant, he will lead both the kitchen and front of house, bringing fresh energy while honouring the pub’s rich heritage and strong community ties.
“This pub means so much to so many people,” said Dan “It’s an absolute privilege to take on the tenancy. We’ve built something really special here, and I’m excited to grow that - keeping everything our guests love while introducing new ideas, events, and experiences.”
Guests can look forward to a vibrant, evolving seasonal menu showcasing local farmers, fishers, and artisans.
Special dining events, themed evenings and charity focused events
Continued focus on quality ales, fine wines, and locally crafted drinks
A welcoming space for families, friends, walkers, and four-legged companions
