Gaia Coffee introduces new speciality coffees – from Brazil and Guatemala

Gaia Coffee introduces new speciality coffees… two exceptional single-origin coffees that are sure to tantalise your taste buds.

Donas Do Café – Brazil
From the heart of Brazil, this remarkable coffee is sourced from three women farmers as part of the Women of Coffee initiative by the exporter SMC.

Donas Do Café aims to spotlight the significant contributions of female coffee producers in Sul de Minas. This coffee not only supports a great cause but also offers a delightful tasting experience with notes of yellow plum, butterscotch, toffee, and grapefruit. Every sip supports empowerment and showcases the prowess of these incredible women in the coffee industry.

La Nueva Era  – Guatemala
Our second addition comes from Cooperativa Agrícola Integral La Nueva Era, R.L., situated in the village of Jumaytepeque. This coffee is cultivated in the foothills of the inactive Volcan Jumaytepeque and brings you a creamy, rounded profile with flavors of blackberry, blueberry, blackcurrant, and hibiscus, balanced beautifully with a cocoa powder mouthfeel. The cooperative’s inclusive approach involves all 32-member producers in key decisions, enhancing the community spirit and the coffee’s quality.

Both coffees exemplify our dedication to sustainability and craftsmanship. The natural processing of the Guatemala La Nueva Era includes a meticulous drying process adjusted for altitude, ensuring each bean’s flavor is perfectly preserved. Similarly, Donas Do Café represents a stride toward gender equality in agriculture, celebrating the success and leadership of female farmers.

We invite you to try these unique coffees and share in the story and success of each cup. Your support directly contributes to Gaia’s community initiatives and helps us continue to make a positive impact through the love of coffee.

We’re also overjoyed to announce that our Gaia‘s Helping Hand House Blend has been honoured with a Gold Award in the Taste of the West Awards.
