Organic coffee roastery, Devon Coffee Co. celebrates 15 years with a fresh new look.
A lot has changed at Devon Coffee Co. since the first batch of coffee was roasted in Plymouth back in 2011.
Over the past 15 years, the independent roastery has grown its community of wholesale customers across Devon and the wider South West, while also bringing its speciality coffee to homes nationwide through its online shop. In 2022, the business became certified organic.
The move towards organic came from founder Andy Baker’s growing interest in how the choices we make affect both our health and the environment. Today, Devon Coffee Co. is also a member of 1% for the Planet, donating 1% of every sale to environmental causes.
Andy said: “We’ve learnt a huge amount over the past 15 years and the business has naturally evolved with us. We’re still a small, independent team here in Devon, but we know much more about the coffee we want to roast and the kind of business we want to be. It felt like the right time for our look to catch up with that.”
To reflect where the business is today, Devon Coffee Co. has unveiled new branding, redesigned coffee bags and a brand new website, with more to come over the coming months.
While the look may have changed, the important bits haven’t. The same small team continues to roast organic speciality coffee in Plymouth, supplying hospitality businesses across the South West and delivering freshly roasted coffee directly to customers across the UK.
