'Chunkmas' has landed! Devon's most awarded pies, delivered for Christmas.
From Turkey, Ham, Brie and Cranberry to Venison and Port, Chunk of Devon's festive range are baked, frozen and ready to deliver, and fully gluten free.
No frilly tablecloths, no fuss, just proper Christmas pies. Chunk of Devon, the Ottery St Mary bakery with more than 400 awards to its name, has launched its festive range, ‘Chunkmas’, and it's available to order online now for delivery across mainland UK.
Top of the tree is the Venison & Port Pie with Bacon & Juniper Berries (£4.95), made with locally sourced venison. It’s joined by the Turkey, Ham, Brie & Cranberry Pie (£4.95), a Chunk fans’ favourite, and the Turkey, Ham & Cranberry Pasty (£4.50). For anyone who’s had enough of nut roast, there’s the vegan Veggie Tagine Pie (£4.65), filled with sherry-glazed parsnips, butternut squash and cranberries.
And if you love sprouts, The Sensational Sprout Pie (£5.45) is a must try! Back for a fourth year, this quirky pie has won the hearts of sprout lovers everywhere, but it’s a limited edition, so don’t miss out.
A Gluten Free Chunkmas, without compromise!
Chunk's dedicated gluten and wheat free bakery in Honiton makes gluten free versions of every Christmas savoury. It also bakes the sweet stuff! Traditional Mince Pies (£2.75), Christmas Cake in slices (£2.20) or a Christmas Cake topped with layer of marzipan and traditional icing (750g, £25) and the epic Christmas Rum Crunch slices (£2.00). As expected with Chunk - they all taste awesome and the big bonus all are suitable for vegans!
"Christmas should be about the people round the table, not hours in the kitchen," say founders Simon and Suzi Bryon-Edmond. "Everything arrives baked and frozen, so you just heat it up and take the credit. And if there's a coeliac in the family, they get a proper pie too, not a sad salad or tasteless nut roast"

Chunk's selection boxes make an easy present, from the Steak Lovers Pie & Pasty Box to the Gluten Free Selection Box, priced from £33.50 for eight bakes. Orders can be sent direct to another address with a personal message, and no prices are included in the parcel. Gift vouchers from £10 to £50 are also available.
How it works.
Everything is handmade in Devon, delivered baked and frozen by courier from Tuesday to Friday, and keeps in the freezer for up to nine months. The minimum order is £30 and delivery is free on orders over £45. Last order date for Christmas delivery: 18th December.
