Barbers Bean to Bar new Cocoa Husk Latte has been awarded a coveted Three-Star rating at the Great Taste Awards.
Described as rich and indulgent, Barbers Cocoa Husk Latte offers chocolate lovers a sustainable, artisan-crafted alternative to traditional hot chocolate. With its chocolatey notes and dried fruit and floral finish, when infused into milk it is smoother and lighter than a classic hot chocolate with half the fat.
Judges called it: “The best hot chocolate we have ever tasted - thick and creamy with a bold chocolate note that is strong, but not overly so”.
They praised its “deep, luxurious mouthfeel with hints of orange zest and fruity acidity that makes it stand apart”, recognising a flavour journey “from berries to plums, to toasted cereal and nuts, vanilla and wood.”
The award-winning drink is available to purchase directly through the Barbers Bean to Bar website, as well as in selected cafés, coffee shops and farm shops across the UK. It is suitable for vegans and is gluten free.
