Drinks specialist Azu Spirits has revealed exciting updates to their at-home spirits tasting experience, offering a unique twist to blind tasting. The updated whisky and gin tasting boxes are tailored for group settings, such as dinner parties, and offer a range of premium and craft spirits for customers to try.

Designed for social occasions and contained in luxury packaging, the classic tasting boxes contain six x 100ml numbered bottles of premium single malt whiskies or craft and classic gins, and six name tags exploring the unique qualities of each spirit. Without knowing which one is which (the answer is hidden in the ‘reveal’ envelope), these at-home experiences give people the chance to test their palate and try to match the name tags with the numbered bottles.

Featuring local craft distilleries, their South West Craft Gins box provides an opportunity to discover inspiring craft brands in the area. The range of single malt whisky collections showcase the diversity in Scotch whisky, and the Great British Gins box takes a journey through traditional styles and the evolution of gin in the UK. Designed as a social blind tasting, this product offers an experience quite different, encouraging engagement, focusing on quality and exploring the stories behind the brands.

The tasting sets are sold online at www.azuspirits.co.uk and provide an introductory leaflet with everything needed to host a premium blind tasting contained in the luxury wax-sealed envelope. The whisky selections showcase a range of premium Scottish single malts such as Talisker 10, Ledaig 18, Dalmore 18 and even Macallan Rare Cask and Bunnahabhain Moine 22 year old Pedro Ximenez Finish. Some gins featured include premium releases from Bombay Sapphire, Tanqueray and Plymouth Gin, with some less known craft spirits including Wrecking Coast Clotted Cream, Papillon Gin and Atlantic Distillery ‘Ring of Fire’.

You can choose from the standard collections or create your own blind tasting set from the spirits in their selection. With the option of personalisation and £1 donated to a charity of your choice, Azu focuses on creating a premium experience tailored to you.

Always eager to expand their collections, Azu is looking forward to exploring the exciting world of non-alcoholic spirits after tasting a selection of Warners 0% Botanic Garden Spirits, in addition to expanding their whisky and regional craft spirits collections.
