Now firmly on the map as one of Ottery St Mary’s favourite eateries, Coldharbour Field Kitchen is gearing up for a busy second season ahead.

From Easter the popular Tapas Evenings are starting up again, every Friday and Saturday evening from 6 to 9pm.

There’s room for around 40 covers inside but as the weather warms up the decking is the place to be, with stunning views across East Devon and the most incredible sunsets. The menu has had a revamp with more mixed cuisine including Moroccan and Middle Eastern small plates. Beth and Andrea are hoping to welcome some local musicians to perform on some of these Tapas evenings.

New for 2023 is a wood fired oven which will be housed in a funky shipping container. This gives the Field Kitchen a whole new food offering, from tasty pizzas to slow roast meats, baked fish and even more vegetarian options.

The new vegetarian breakfast has been going down a storm! A plate packed with flavours, from Beth’s famous bubble & squeak to avocado topped with cheeky jalapenos, generous slices of halloumi and all the usual breakfast flavours. A vegan option is also available.

The Field Kitchen had a great start to the year, winning Gold at the Devon Tourism Awards for Casual Dining and going through to the South West finals at the Eden Project in May.

Many visitors to the Field Kitchen also visit the nearby Farm Shop, which has a superb range of locally sourced tasty food and treats, plus a wonderful display of artisan spirits from all the best distillers from Devon and the wider South West. Don’t forget to try Coldharbour’s very own Flaming Barrels gin!
