Exeter Gin’s Ivaar the Boneless Viking (Navy) Strength Gin has been awarded the prestigious 3* Award in the highly respected Great Taste Award.

Great Taste is the world’s largest and most trusted food and drink accreditation from the Guild of Fine Food. The award was given to Exeter Gin in August and only 2% of products receive the 3* accolade so it’s a fantastic achievement.

Founder Karen Skerratt said “We are absolutely delighted to have won this fantastic accolade, not just for us but for the city of Exeter. The award also shows how fabulous our Devon producers are with 7 companies also winning the top 3*award.

“We are the only local Gin business to achieve this award and we believe it is so important to shout about our British Gin highlighting the recent big resurgence of this classic traditional drink.”

The Navy Strength 57% ABV Gin had some wonderful comments including:

‘A wonderfully rich nose is redolent with juniper oils – convincing, rounded, enticing.’

‘Fantastic blend of ingredients, most of which deliver really well on the palate. Peppercorns and herbs shine through.’

We adored the aroma, the complex layers of botanicals unfolding in a story of flavour.’

To celebrate the award Exeter Gin are giving £6 off purchases of over £39, use code OCTOBER6. Offer ends 31st October 2022.
