B Corp certified Hattiers Rum is delighted to announce the appointment of well-known and respected drinks communicator, Tom Surgey, as a ‘Hattiers Rum Ambassador’.
Regarded as one of the industry’s most-engaging figures in the UK hospitality industry, drinks presenter and writer Tom, has a wealth of experience across all drinks categories as well as food and the hospitality trade itself. Having carved out a unique space with his upbeat, high energy and authentically passionate style, Tom is known as a lover of great drinks and an ambassador for the industry and the people within it, promoting the benefits and a love for great food and drink.
In his new role as a Hattiers Rum Ambassador, Tom will work closely with the Hattiers team to promote the brand and its portfolio of premium rums, which includes Eminence Blended Aged White Rum, EgremontPremium Reserve Rum and Resolute Navy Strength Rum.

Alongside his work, Tom is the co-founder of the not-for-profit and charitable foundation Table Talk Sussex, which puts chefs in primary schools to teach food education. He was also a founding steering committee member for The Drinks Trust’s The Drinks Community, of which Hattiers’ founder Philip is a mentor himself.
