A Georgian Wine Festival will be coming to Dartington Estate in Devon this October, for a joyous celebration of Georgian wine and culture, curated by Masters of Wine Sarah Abbott and Justin Howard-Sneyd.

The Georgian National Wine Agency and Dartington Trust are proud to announce their first Georgian Wine Festival to be held at the historic Devon estate, set to take place from 13^th to 15^th October 2023.

This weekend event promises to captivate wine enthusiasts, culture aficionados, and curious explorers alike, offering a unique opportunity to immerse oneself in the rich traditions of Georgian wine and winemaking.

The Georgian Wine Festival brings together the vibrant flavours, captivating melodies, and age-old winemaking techniques of Georgia, a country renowned for being the cradle of wine. This year’s festival is supported by many of Georgia’s finest wine estates and leading Georgian restaurants and cultural organisations within the UK.

Attendees at the Georgian Wine Festival will have the chance to embark on a sensory journey through the heart of Georgia’s winemaking traditions. From traditional qvevri wine tastings to masterclasses led by Georgian winemakers, guests will have the opportunity to explore a variety of indigenous grape varietals and experience the unique winemaking techniques that have been passed down through generations.
