At the end of March The Husbandry School, near Ashburton, and Gather restaurant in Totnes collaborated on a seasonal evening dinner, held at Gather.
The seven course tasting menu was packed with fresh produce, meat, heritage grain flour and eggs all grown and reared at The Husbandry School.
Carole & Jonty Williams, founders of The Husbandry School, gave talks throughout the evening on their approach to working with the land in a time-honoured, sustainable and ethical way.
Gather’s chefs, Harrison Brockington and Oli Rosier created incredible dishes, including savoury herb beignets, stuff loin of goat with wild garlic, fresh pasta from the heritage flour, and beautiful rosemary icecream and raspberry vinegar.
More events are planned and will be announced on social media. Follow @gathertotnes and @thehusbandryschool – don’t miss out!
