Flapjackery is thrilled to announce the opening of a new permanent store in Dartmouth on May 1st, following the success of its pop-up last summer.
Based in Tavistock, West Devon, Flapjackery has built a strong reputation in seaside towns across the region including popular locations like Fowey, St Ives, Falmouth, Minehead, Sidmouth, and Lymington. Dartmouth will be the 11th shop it has opened with the location bringing its famous flapjacks and other handmade treats to the heart of the town.
Carol Myott, who co-founded Flapjackery in 2015, shared her excitement about the new store: “After the overwhelming success of our Dartmouth pop-up last year, we knew we wanted to establish a permanent presence here. We’re thrilled to have secured the lease for this new location.”
In addition to the store’s iconic flapjacks, which come in an extensive range of flavours like Lemon Drizzle, Cherry Bakewell, Millionaires, the shelves will be laden with a host of other sweet treats such as chocolate clusters, shards, fudge, and honeycomb.
Each Flapjackery shop has a nominated charity, and the Dartmouth Lifeboat Station will be the recipient for the new store, continuing the company’s commitment to supporting the local community.
Flapjackery’s iconic branding, with the shops painted orange and adorned with its famous Union Jack, will stand out beautifully along Dartmouth’s famous Boat Float just a few doors down from historic York House.
To celebrate the opening of the new shop on Wednesday, May 1st, the first one hundred customers who purchase three flapjacks or more will receive a free box of three flapjacks. And, as an exclusive offer, the first one hundred customers will also be eligible to be entered into a prize draw to win a year’s supply of flapjacks. The winner of the prize draw will be announced on Flapjackery’s social media channels a week after opening. There will also be free sampling on the day.
