Clive’s Pies, the pioneering plant-based brand, based in Dartmouth, has launched two new products and one re-branded product, in Waitrose this autumn.

• Red Pepper Harissa Quiche with a pumpkin seed crumb.

• Broccoli & Pesto Quiche with cashews, basil and pumpkin seeds.

• Coronation Chickpea Puff Pie with creamy coconut and apricot.

All three are vegan, certified organic and come in plastic free packaging. The Red Pepper and Harissa Quiche and the Broccoli and Pesto Quiche both now have a plant-based window instead of traditional plastic.

“We’re delighted to be the first supermarket to launch more of Clive’s tasty plant-based products”, says Catherine Shacklock, Partner & Buyer for Waitrose’s chilled vegan and vegetarian category.”

Clive’s Pies have been at the forefront of plant-based innovation for more than 30 years and are the innovation leaders in the UK for plant-based pies and quiches.

Craig Blackborough, of Clive’s Pies, commented about the new products:

“Our new Red Pepper Harissa Quiche was created for sharing. We created something you will want to share with your family, friends and co-workers. Love is part of every product ingredient list, and we’ve put a lot of love and care into creating our products.”

New plant-based window

The 100% plant-based and organic Clive’s Pies products come in plastic-free packaging as customers turn to products delivering on both sustainability and ethics.

“We are super proud of the way our products look but customers couldn’t get a proper eyes on the pies before they opened the box” said Esther Pearson, Clive’s chief pie-maker and Managing Director.

“The Red Pepper and Harissa Quiche and the Broccoli and Pesto Quiche both now have a plant-based window instead of traditional plastic.”
