Celebrate the season with a truly festive activity, a half-day Christmas hamper making at High Grange.

Guided by Head of Feasting, Chiara Thomasoni, you’ll spend the day creating beautiful foodie gifts, perfect for sharing or adding a homemade touch to your table.

Begin with coffee or tea on arrival, then let mulled cider keep the festive spirit flowing throughout the day.

You’ll be shown how to craft a variety of seasonal treats, from Somerset Cider Brandy and sea salt truffles, to smoked almond nougat, mulled wine syrup, boozy infusions, herby cheddar crackers, and festive chutneys.

Along the way, Chiara will also share tips on how to package, present, and construct the ultimate Christmas hamper, so your creations look every bit as special as they taste.

The course runs from 10am–2:30pm, culminating in a delicious seasonal lunch prepared by Chiara and enjoyed in The Shippen, the beautiful barn with cosy interiors and a wood burner to keep things snug.
