An Evening of Coffee, Chocolate and Cocktails
Devon-based roastery Voyager Coffee is proud to announce a special event in support of UK Coffee Week, to raise funds for Project Waterfall, a charity initiative bringing clean drinking water, sanitation and education to coffee growing communities.
Voyager’s evening of Coffee, Chocolate & Cocktails will be held at The Brew Hub, Buckfastleigh, on Friday 18th October, from 6.30pm - 10pm.
Tickets cost £20.00 per person (plus a booking fee) and include a cupping experience, an interactive bean-to-bar chocolate making talk and tasting, live cocktail demonstration and live auction, with all proceeds from the auction going to Project Waterfall.
Coffee
The evening will begin with a Voyager Cupping Experience led by Head Roaster, Gabe Fill. This coffee cupping session is an opportunity to explore the tastes and aromas of brewed coffee, featuring Voyager’s current seasonal single origins alongside award-winning blends, and sharpen your coffee palate as you learn about the various processes that influence flavour.
Chocolate
Founder of Barbers Bean to Bar, Michael Barber, will host an interactive chocolate talk and tasting, explaining the world of bean to bar chocolate making.
Cocktails
Michael will be followed by Voyager’s Ryan Moore and Ashley Swain from Hattiers Rum, who together will demonstrate how to make a Rumtini, the perfect rum and coffee cocktail using Hattiers Rum and Voyager Coffee.
... and a live auction
The evening will draw to a close with Made in Chelsea’s Cheska Hull, who will host a live auction, with products and experiences from Voyager Coffee and other local businesses such as Brend Collection, Café on the Green, The Cheese Connection, JoJo Designs, Moorland Hotel, Dyno Climbing, Ashburton Cookery School, Salcombe Brewery Co., Flapjackery, Hattiers Rum and Barbers Bean to Bar.
