The newly awarded MICHELIN star restaurant Àclèaf in Devon are offering an exclusive tasting menu impeccably paired with fine wines from English winemaker Gusbourne for English Wine Week.
English Wine Week celebrates homegrown wines across the UK bringing awareness to the availability and highlighting the abundance of flavours on offer.
17 – 23 June
The exclusive four-course tasting menu created by Head Chef Scott Paton includes:
CRAB, curry, mango paired with Gusbourne Blanc de Blancs 2018
TURBOT, clams, vanilla paired with Gusbourne Chardonnay Guinevere 2020
LAMB, date, preserved lemon paired with Gusbourne Pinot Nior 2020 and finally
RASPBERRY, peach, almond paired with Gusbourne Rose Brut 2018.
The four-course menu is priced at £200 per person including wine pairings.

In continuation of the partnership, Àclèaf are showcasing an evening with Gusbourne on 12thJuly 2023 where guests can embark on a journey into fine wines with a MICHELIN star meal alongside a guided talk and tasting from Ambassador Steve Kirkham who will share Gusbourne’s approach to wine making, and why its close proximity to the sea is so important. Tickets are £150 per person with the evening commencing at 7pm.
Situated just six miles from the sea in Appledore, Kent, Gusbourne first planted vines in 2004 with a vision to create the finest vintage wines using grapes exclusively from their own vineyards. Gusbourne’s debut vintages – Brut Reserve 2006 and Blanc de Blancs 2006 – were released in 2010 to critical acclaim, earning accolades from the world’s most exacting wine critics as Gusbourne’ s sparkling and still wines continue to win prestigious national and international industry awards.
