Devon Rum Co. Introduce New Rum Tasting Experience in Salcombe

Join the Devon Rum Co. team at their waterside venue in Salcombe for an exclusive Rum Tasting Experience, complete with a behind-the-scenes tour of their Blending House!

Ahead of the summer, Devon Rum Co. is excited to announce the launch of their new Rum Tasting Experience on Island Street in Salcombe. This must-try experience is the perfect activity for spirit fans, or groups of friends looking for something unique to do in Salcombe and the surrounding area.

Upon arrival, guests are greeted with a welcome drink, selected from Devon Rum Co’s Signature Serve Menu. This exclusive menu features the perfect pairings for each of the brand’s four award-winning rums, including their most popular Devon Stormy cocktail: a carefully balanced blend of Premium Spiced Rum, fresh lime juice, and fiery ginger beer.

With drinks in-hand, guests are guided through a short history of rum, before taking a tour of the brand’s Blending House, where the process of making rum is explained in detail and they can try their hand at bottling.

Finally, guests are welcomed back to the tasting table, where they are guided through a fully-tutored tasting of Devon Rum Co’s entire range of award-winning spirits.

Guests will be taught how to taste spirits like a professional, as they sniff and sip their way through the brand’s Signature Golden Rum, Premium Spiced Rum, Black Spiced Rum, and Honey Spiced Rum. This interactive tasting experience encourages conversation, with the host helping guests to identify tasting notes and the best drinks pairings along the way.

After the tasting is concluded, guests are invited to share a few more drinks at the Devon Rum Co bar, before enjoying a special 10% saving off everything in the brand’s fully stocked rum store.
