Ticklemore Cheese Dairy

We are a small cheese dairy based just outside Totnes, overlooking the beautiful River Dart. We produce three artisan blue cheeses from local, well managed farms. Which are;

Beenleigh Blue (sheep milk). This cheese has seasonal variations: it is lighter and sweeter at the beginning of the season, becoming much more robust and intense towards the end of the season. It can range from being fruity and tangy to having a much deeper earthy flavour.

Devon Blue (cows’ milk). This cheese has a smooth creamy texture coupled with a rounded buttery flavour.
Harbourne Blue (goat milk). This cheese can vary in strength and taste from being mild and sweet with a fresh floral flavour to a much deeper and intense flavour.

Beenleigh Blue is our signature cheese. It first came into being nearly 45 years ago, and has gone from strength to strength! Beenleigh Blue tastes wonderful on its own, as part of a cheeseboard and goes very well with a sweet hoppy beer!
