Come to Milling Day – Sunday 17^th December at Otterton Mill and watch flour being milled at the historic working watermill.

Set beside the River Otter in one of Devon’s most beautiful valleys, Otterton Mill  an award winning café, restaurant, farm shop and artisan bakery which all sit alongside an historic working watermill – which you can see in all its working glory on their Milling Days.

The mill workings are ancient, in fact there has been a working mill at Otterton since at least Norman times. On Milling Days the fascinating mill workings are fully open for public viewing and the water wheel is kept turning.

The millers usually mill their signature stoneground flour twice a month. On milling days, the millers are very happy to chat to visitors, explain how the mill works and answer any questions.
