Devon based bakery Clive’s Purely Plants have launched two new varieties of vegan quiche to join their bestselling Vegan Quiche Lorraine and Creamy Cauliflower Quiche.

The launch adds a Roasted Red Pepper Quiche and a Broccoli & Pesto Quiche. All four are single serve portions in Clive’s usual plastic free packaging. They are best eaten cold so perfect for a summer of vegan picnicking ahead.

“Our quiches have been selling faster than we could have imagined, with customers shopping nationwide in our network of independent retailers, in Waitrose stores and online with VeganKind and Frozenly. We wanted to bring two new delicious and distinctive choices to the range and just know these will be winners too” said Esther Pearson, Managing Director.

With plant-based eating on the rise by 39.1% in 2020 compared to the previous year (1) and plant-based pastry products up 37.5% (2), this launch will definitely help feed the growing demand. Clive’s also hits the mark with plastic free packaging and 100% organic, clean label ingredients. These attributes were confirmed to be really important to Veganuary participants – up to more than half a million – who are looking for less processing, simple ingredients and sustainable packaging. (3)
