Clive’s launch new Vegan Snacking Rolls and Sharing Quiche…perfect accompaniments to a Coronation Big Lunch!

Devon based Clive’s Purely Plants have developed two new products which launched on 19th April – Vegan Sausagey Rolls with Red Onion Chutney and Tomato & Tofu Quiche with Basil and Cracked Black Pepper.

The Sausagey Rolls with Red Onion Chutney are a savoury, moreish treat wrapped in light and flaky puff pastry. The combination of the herb-seasoned filling and the red onion chutney creates a sausagey sensation that leave the taste buds tingling for more. Whether enjoyed hot or cold, this snack is perfect for any time of the day.

Clive’s Tomato & Tofu Quiche with Basil and Cracked Black Pepper will transport you to Italy with each bite – think margherita-pizza-style quiche. The combination of rich tomato sauce, fragrant basil, and creamy silken tofu encased in a crisp pastry crust is heavenly. This quiche is perfect for a light lunch or dinner and pairs well with a simple green leaf salad and a refreshing drink.

“Now that quiche has received the royal nod as signature dish for the coronation, this would make the perfect sharing dish to take along to a coronation party” comments Sarah Hackford, Marketing Manager at Clive’s “And the Vegan Sausagey Rolls are the perfect plant-based accompaniment to any picnic”

“We are excited to bring these delicious vegan options to the market and hope that everyone will enjoy them as much as we do!” says Clive’s MD Esther Pearson. “We have always been committed to producing high-quality organic food, and these new snacking products are no exception. This additional category is a demonstration of the diversity and flexibility that we now have to offer from our Bakery in Devon. We are proud to be ‘baking’ new ground once again”.

Both products are now available for purchase at select Waitrose stores and online.
