It’s National Prosecco Day on August 13th, celebrate by adding a drop of Devon Cove’s Damson Liqueur to your glass of Prosecco or treat yourself to one of their Cove Royal Cocktail Kits (their take on a Kir Royale), which includes a 20cl of their Cove Damson Liqueur, 2 small bottles of Prosecco and a cocktail recipe.
Cove Damson Liqueur
Cove Damson Liqueur is divinely fruity and exceptionally smooth. Devon Cove has combined ripe Westcountry damsons with their Devon Potato Vodka to create a luxuriously rich, delicious liqueur. Cove vodka is created using King Edward Potatoes grown on their family farm overlooking Hope Cove. They recommend serving Cove Damson Liqueur chilled on its own, or in a glass of Champagne. Once we had our exceptionally smooth vodka perfected we decided it would be great to develop a lovely smooth and fruity liqueur. Our first choice was fresh damsons, perfect for the season, a beautiful colour and a fabulous taste. We added fresh Westcountry damsons and sugar to our vodka to create a divinely fruity liqueur that is perfect on its own and amazing in a glass of bubbly. What better drink to enjoy over the festive period.
Cove Royale Cocktail Kit
The Cove Royale Cocktail Kit is the perfect gift for anyone that enjoys a glass of bubbly. It’s Devon’s take on a Kir Royale and includes a 20cl bottle of their divinely fruity Cove Damson Liqueur and 2 x 20cl bottles of Prosecco. Simple to make and fabulous to drink. Each kit makes 4 cocktails and you’ll have most of the bottle of Damson Liqueur left to enjoy.
