The fascinating worlds of sherry, rum and gin
200 Years of a Famous Sherry: Back again to the Festival this year to celebrate Barbadillo’s 200 year anniversary, is Tim Holt. He will be speaking about the history of this very successful Sherry House and describing the intricacies of making this wonderfully food friendly fortified wine which you will be tasting! There will be some complimentary nibbles to accompany the tasting.
The Growing Rum Scene: Dartmouth’s local Craft Rum producers are passionate about what they produce, and are on a mission to show you what is so amazing about great craft rum, share some samples and explain why you should add rum to your drink’s repertoire!
Live Salcombe Gin Distillation: Join Angus Lugsdin, co-founder of Salcombe Gin as he demonstrates a live distillation of this wonderful local gin. Expect to be informed, entertained and of course provided with samples of this delicious spirit.
